Did you notice your child gained more room in the diono?

I know they should be the exact shell and slots. But ds went from the 4th slots in his XTSL to the 3rd in his R120. SS also has more room as she was closer to the top slots in the XTSL and just over the 4th in the R120.

We just upgraded from an 80SL to the R120 and ds has the same amount of room above his head as he had in the old seat. He has about 1 1/2" inches to go in both before he outgrows them by height. I did notice however that the slots on the R120 seemed a little higher than the 80SL's. He was just over the 4th slots on the 80SL and is pretty much even with the 4th slots on the R120. Hmmm...

Sam is still one the 4th slot in the RXT (same as his XTSL), and they are different angles and seating positions, so I've got nothing of value. Anyone measure?

I'm getting 14 for the 4th slots on the XTSL and and 14.5 on the R120. Top slots I'm getting 17 on the XTSL and 17.5 on the R120.

I don't have both currently to compare, but when I was changing the cover on my RXT I thought the memory foam was thinner than on the XTSL. Maybe that's why??

I just stripped them and the R120 has different memory foam. It's thinner and much softer. Measuring them naked they're exactly the same.

That's what I was thinking.
