My friend bought one and found out the back doors didn't have child lock. Her son opened the door while they were driving. Not sure which year though.

I did lots of general research before I bought it, but mostly only know people with older versions or the sedan (like your friend) Mine is a coupe and I signed the papers. The radian AND the myride are giving me trouble about getting tight rear facing...Im going to try LATCH with the myride RFing then im out of ideas haha. The leather compresses a bit, but its so slippery. The radian goes in nicely with LATCH forward facing, but Michael is still rearfacing. I havent tried anything else yet :)

Try cleaning the leather with warm water and mild soap. A lot of dealers Armour or put a leather conditioner on the leather seats to make them shine for wow factor. This will make the seats slick and installation harder.

Thanks, I think the issue might be a bit more than just the slippery leather, although that probably is part of it. When I go around a turn slowly, even after FINALLY getting an acceptable install with the myride, it flys over sideways...my son found this hilarious and extremely fun...I did not. The radian would probably fit great behind my seat because the rear driver side buckle is down extremely far and the rear passenger buckle is out further but that means I have to get out, go around and get in from the other side to unbuckle him every time? uhhh no.

im gonna try the true fit when i remember where i put it (been moving a LOT of seats around lately haha)
