Only here would people "get" how odd this dream was, and how totally carseat crazy it is!
I had to put my 4 kids and us (2 adults) in the Honda Civic to escape a sort of fireball (inspired from SuperBowl Commercial). Staying put was not an option. I had only my spare seats to work with, and FAST. Now, I did this TOTALLY in my dream, not real life. And my decisions were made while I was not awake.
Dad drove and is 6 feet 4 inches. 4-year-old was harnessed in her Prosport up front with seat pushed back away from airbag as far as possible. 5-year-old was in middle, in seatbelt (after Harmony backless failed to fit; I remember SHOVING it desperately, perhaps this shows pent up carseat frustration). Baby and toddler were in Sceneras rear-facing, which I imagine would have braced the front seats like crazy. I was across the floor as low as I could get.
It was so vivid, so awful. But in all honestly there are times when the Civic is the only car home, so maybe I have a fear of being stuck with it and all the kids. But if it were such an emergency hopefully an ambulance would take care of us!
