I desperately need help configuring children and seats in our yukon. We currently have only the Odyssey and borrowing FIL's truck after an accident claimed our Volvo V70. No injuries and no children involved BUT State Farm did reimburse us on the purchase of a new car seat :) The one in the Volvo was an 07 Radian and I have already purchased a Frontier to replace it as I am not a fan of Dionos. (Another post)

I have 3 out of seats and 3 in. Those in seats are as follows:

6 yrs old 47" 39 lbs 17" torso
4 yrs old 40" 32 ilbs 15" torso
8 mos 27" 23 lbs 10.5" torso

I currently own:

Radian 65 ('10) (being used by 4 yr old in ody)
Britax 55 ('11)( being used rf by 8 month old)
Britax Parkway SGL(10)( being used by 6 yr old in ody)
Britax Frontie('12) ...up for grabs!
"Salvage" 07 Radian only cover being saved for back up on R65
$$ For 2 new seats set aside :)

Set up in Ody is Rf behind driver, Radian and Parkway in 3rd row.
I have 3 kids that get dropped off at school in the AM so would like to KISS as far as getting ppl out the passenger side door. They are good at climbing over seats if needed :)

For Yukon...will probably use more at pick-up and so able to actually get out and move passenger sliding seat to allow others 3rd row access. I am not a fan of lugging our hefty 8 month old into 3rd row so would like to keep him behind driver OR center in our current Radian...maybe a truefit ...???

I dont get a lot of time to play with my seats so would really appreciate and suggestions, comments and/or pictures!

Thanks~Amy

How old are the other kids? Do they pass the 5 step test in the Yukon? http://www.carseat.org/Boosters/630.htm

Because the seats are different sizes, even if they pass the 5 step test in one car, they may not in another. Just check to be sure no one else needs a booster seat.

You don't want any more Radians?

I would put baby in them middle of the middle row, with 6yo in a booster on the driver's side. One of the older boosterless kids can sit in the passenger side middle row seat. In the 3rd row, 4 year old forward-facing in the middle seat with older kids on both sides. I don't know if a Frontier will allow enough room on the sides for other kids. Perhaps a Maestro in the center back.

Hope that helps!
