Hi everyone! I haven't posted in a while but wanted to let you all know that my buybuy Baby has the Peg Perego Convertible in-stock. I took some measurements today but didn't get any pictures. I work again tomorrow and will try and take some if you're interested.

The main points I noticed were:
- rear faces to 45lbs, can not start forward facing until 22lbs
- the lower infant padding must be used until the child is 22lbs
- the seat can be between 40-45* rear facing
- it expires 7 years from the date of manufacture
- if your vehicle doesn't state any LATCH limits and tells you to refer to the CR manufacturer, Peg has a limit of 30lbs
- highest harness position without lower padding is 17in

Is the rf to 45lbs. new for 2012? It was only 35lbs. for 2011

There wasn't a Peg convertible in 2011? It's just been released for the first time. I think when they first talked about though it was going to be 35# but that changed back in the fall maybe? When it was at the Expo it was 45# anyway.

hrmph. |That is drastically different info than what albeebaby has online in their description. I hope we can get some clarity.

It's 45 for the US, 35 for Canada, I believe. But I'm 100% certain it's 45 in the US. My friend was considering it, but it's not any taller than the Britaxes, so the 45 pound limit would really only work for short, stocky kids.

It's 45# in both countries. There are pics on the blog from the Expo I'm sure. I'll go find them.

I keep waiting for this seat to surface. I'm hoping it's the poor man's equivalent to Foonf. :p

Canadian versions even offer an ARB....

If it's 17" harness that's a lot more room.

Wow! I just looked at the description of it on Albee Baby and their info is way off. It appears that some of their bullets were taken from Peg's website, but I'm not sure where the rest of the info is from.

The info that they got from they expo didn't change much. The price however did. We have the black fabric and it's retailing for $349.99. Also, the photos on-line show it with rear and forward facing lock-offs but they do only have a forward facing lock-off.
