Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. is voluntarily recalling from retailers one lot of AVEENO® BABY CALMING COMFORT® LOTION. in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. This recall is being initiated as a precautionary measure after testing of a product sample by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) indicated that the lot exceeded the specifications for common bacteria.

HP Recalls HP 1040 and 1050 Fax Machines Due to Fire and Burn Hazards. Sold at: Electronics, computer and camera stores nationwide, and online at www.shopping.hp.com and other websites from November 2004 through December 2011 for between $90 and $120. Some of the recalled fax machines were replacement units for a previous recall involving HP fax model 1010 in June 2008.

TOYO TIRE IS RECALLING CERTAIN TOYO EXTENSA A/S TIRES, SIZE P225/60R16 97T, PRODUCED FROM SEPTEMBER 20, 2009, THROUGH NOVEMBER 6, 2010. SOME OF THESE TIRES MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITH A KINK IN THE BEAD AREA. UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES, THE KINK MAY EVENTUALLY LEAD TO A CRACK IN THE BEAD AREA, WHICH IS NEAR THE RIM.

Michael Foods, Inc. is recalling specific lot dates of hard-cooked eggs in brine sold in 10- and 25-pound pails for institutional use labeled under six brand names (Columbia Valley Farms, GFS, Glenview Farms, Papetti’s, Silverbrook, Wholesome Farms) that were produced at its Wakefield, Nebraska facility because the product has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled eggs were purchased by food distributors and manufacturers located in 34 states (AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI, WV).

Allison’s Gourmet Kitchens of Moore, Oklahoma is therefore recalling certain Prepared Salads that contain cooked eggs because of possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled Prepared Salads that contain hard cooked eggs were distributed in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Kansas, Illinois, Louisiana, Nebraska, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida, Tennessee and Missouri. The products are sold to retail stores and food service.

The salads contain eggs that are the subject of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall due to concerns about contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The products were distributed to retail establishments in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.

Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. is recalling hard-cooked eggs, as well as prepared foods that contain hard-cooked eggs, sold between January 23 and February 1, 2012 because the eggs have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This recall only affects purchases made at Wegmans’ Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Canandaigua, Newark, Geneva, Corning, Elmira, Geneseo, and Hornell stores.

F&S Produce Company Inc., a Deerfield, N.J. establishment, is recalling approximately 389 pounds of Fresh Garden Highway Spinach Salad with Bacon and Fresh Garden Highway Cobb Salad. The salads contain eggs that are the subject of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall due to concerns about contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The products were distributed to a warehouse in Pennsylvania for further distribution to retail locations.

Vitaflo USA has announced a voluntary recall of Renastart 14.11 oz (400g) cans, Batch Number 12832, because some of the product shipped throughout the United States during the period December 29, 2011 through January 26, 2012 has been incorrectly labeled. Renastart is a powdered medical food used in the dietary management of pediatric renal disease, for patients one year and older in the United States.

Pfizer Inc. announced today that it has voluntarily recalled 14 lots of Lo/Ovral®-28 Oral Contraceptives (norgestrel and ethinyl estradiol)Tablets and 14 lots of Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol Oral Contraceptives Tablets (generic) for customers in the U.S. market. An investigation by Pfizer found that some blister packs may contain an inexact count of inert or active ingredient tablets and that the tablets may be out of sequence.

Pedinol Pharmacal Inc. today announced that it is advising healthcare professionals, pharmacists and patients of a potential problem with Gris-PEG® (griseofulvin ultramicrosize) 125mg and 250mg manufactured and packaged by Novartis Consumer Health at its Lincoln, Nebraska manufacturing site. Due to problems that occurred when these products were packaged and labeled at the site, tablets from one product type may have carried over into packaging of another product. This could result in a stray pill of one medicine ending up in the bottle of another product.

Bedford Laboratories™, today issues updated guidance on the following nationwide voluntary product recall originally initiated on December 20, 2011:Acetylcysteine Solution, USP, (Manufactured for Roxane Laboratories, Inc.) 20%, 30 mL per vial – NDC #0054-3026-02 – Lot 1877093 – Exp. Date June 2013. This voluntary recall was initiated on December 20, 2011 after the discovery of a single visible glass particle in a vial within the lot listed above.

Advanced Animal Nutrition updated lot numbers related to a voluntary recall of its dry Dog Power Dog Food- due to aflatoxin levels that were detected above the acceptable limit. The affected dry dog food products were distributed in the following states – Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
