Question Rxt vs true fit

DD is happily riding in her rxt but I'm considering getting her a true fit and putting DS (5.5) in the rxt FF because he is almost too tall for the GN harnessed ... What do you think ? Will the TF take up less space RF or the same and would you recommend something else I know I could just get DS a frontier and I want to eventually but DD is home with me all day and every now and then I find myself wishing I had another RF option for her when we go out with family etc. ( the rxt is a lugg and IMO not the easiest install)

The Radian without angle adjuster takes up the most room, then the TrueFit, then the Radian with angle adjuster.

The TrueFit is just as heavy as the Radian, and not always the easiest install depending on the length of the buckle stalks and where the convenience button on the belt ends up.

What are DD's stats?

If your DS has about maxed out the harness on the Nauti, he's outgrown the Radian. The Nauti's top slots are about 1" taller than the Radian's

She is 12.5 months 29 inches 22.3 lbs :)
I guess the TF might not be the best choice lol that Minnie print is sucking me in !! And right now I drive a 2000 windstar if that helps any.

Doesn't matter, since the Radian allows use with the shoulders over the top slots. The seat isn't outgrown until the weight limit is met, the child is 49 or 51 or 53 or 57 inches (depending on DOM), or the top of the ears go over the top of the shell.

Yeah, but with an XT, it's likely that it won't matter because if he's about ourgrown the Nauti, his shoulders will be IN the headwings of the Radian. He may not have "legally" outgrown the seat, but I bet he has functionally.

I don't know why I just assumed it would work, he is on the top slots now and with any type of growth spurt will be out of it :( he would fit the frontier though correct ? I can't remember his height I'll have to measure tonight.7

A Frontier 85 has top slots about 2" higher than the Nauti, so yes he should have growing room in the FR85.
