The saga continues: My set up for this weekend

I'm taking the kids on a 2 hr each way trip this weekend and leaving at 6 am so there will be sleeping. ;)

This is what I came up with. Abigail (7) will be in a FR85 harnessed. Caleb (3) will be in the MA which I'm not thrilled about but I need him to be able to sleep. Kaleigh (5) will be in a RN XTSL. It fits outboard anywhere in the suburban but not in the center seats. Who knew. And Gabriel (10) will be in a Cruz that's hiding behind the FR in pic.

The only thing I could improve is being able to have someone harnessed in the center 3rd row with room for people on either side so my aunt could ride with us but there's no way to do that without another MA or BLVD.

No one has any comments, or are you all just tired of hearing about it? :ROTFLMAO:

(Which I would totally understand, btw. ;))

Why can't you use this set up all the time? Seems like a good solution. Radian could be a booster eventually.

I can. Most people don't like to see a MA FFing and untethered.

That RN doesn't convert to a booster, but that's ok. She's already got out a cow PW for when she's ready for a booster. I much prefer dedicated boosters.

If there isn't anyone in the center third row, why not tether to the seat belt?

There's no one center, but the kid on the other side will have to get to his seat. :)

I have made peace with it for this trip and bought a new BLVD for permanent. (Thanks lovemybabies924 :D)

Is there a top tether spot in the rear? Is there any way to move the ma to the rear so it can be tethered and move the frontier center and radian outboard in the center or does the ma fit in the rear with the other seats?

The only two tether anchors are outboard 3rd row. It's a 99 truck so not required to have tether anchors, but the cargo tie downs are approved as tether anchors. :)

The FR doesn't fit well in the center and the RN doesn't fit in either center seat at all.
