Help me find the best HBB

Okay I need 2 hbbs for DS#1 and 2 in DH's car. Ds1 is 8 years old 67 pounds and 54 inches tall with a roughly 19in. torso. The only hbb we have tried is the Evenflo Big Kid Sport. He has definitely already out grown it. Ds2 who is 7 years old 64lbs and has a 18in. torso was just about to outgrow it. DH drives a 1990 Ford Taurus, so there is no head support in the back seat. I have had the boys in an Amp and a Literider, but i'm not comfortable with that at all. DH takes them to school every day(2 blocks), but other than that it's very rare that they go anywhere in his car. I was hoping to find something fairly inexpensive for his car and get some nicer ones for my van, where they ride all the time. The other issue is we need to make a 3 across work...Right now we have a Maestro center and there is plenty of room for them to buckle in the Amp and literider. Is there a hbb that is comparable to those in width?

Sorry this is such a jumbled mess and Thanks in advance :)

With no head support, backless boosters are not a safe or appropriate choice. I think you're probably going to have to put the more expensive highbacked boosters in the Taurus -- maybe Montereys or Parkways? If you have head support in your van, the backless boosters can go there.
