My youngest is RFing in a BV70, he still has 2" above his head and is only 33lbs. He is 3yrs 4months, I really wanted to make it to 4 years rfing, but a least to the end of April when we are out of the winter weather. But I'm struggling. I had shoulder surgery in October and it is just not getting better. It is very painful for me to lift him into his seat, so he has been climbing in, but he either gets one of his legs stuck under himself, twists the straps, gets the straps stuck behind him ect so 99% of the time I have to lift him up and get him correctly situated in the seat. I am willing to deal with that. But for the past 2 months every time he is in his seat he complains about his little boy parts. He has been complaining other times too, like when first waking up. I don't think he has a UTI as he says it doesn't hurt when he goes. We are going to the Dr. tomorrow.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it more comfortable for him? What would you do? I really wish I had went with the TFP, but at the time I purchased the BV70 he was on a huge growth spurt and I really thought he's be closer to 35lbs by now.
