Foonf vs Radian for ERF?

So, we have Radians and I'm wondering if anyone knows if a Foonf offers any more time ERF by height? My 4-year-old has 2 inches above her head in the Radian. My little boys are very tall so it's always good to know what's out there...

What are your thoughts about the crumple zone? Hugely beneficial over a Radian (which is very solid but perhaps not crumple-like?) Kind of like old vs. new cars?

It should give another two inches over a Radian. We'll see how that actually translates from measurements to cars when it's out.

The crumple zone is a good idea. I think many shells would do the same thing, just maybe not as in a controlled way. It sounds similar to the Britax safecell technology.

What are your thoughts on the base? It seems kind of high to me and that it might make it harder to get older/heavier kids in and out without bumping their heads.

Holy cow am I excited to see this. I hadn't heard anything on the Foonf because I haven't been to this board in a while. I was just starting to worry about how I'm going to ERF our 21 month old (28lb, 33 in.) to (hopefully) age 3 or beyond. He's in a TFP now, and we love it, but that 35lb limit is approaching. The Radian had absolutely horrible over-rotation in our Odyssey, so we got rid of it. Glad to hear about this great new option! Just gotta start saving the money... :)

I thought it was the same height as the RN? Is that for FF only?

Anyone know the height FF and RF of the two seats?

Does this mean they recanted on the 43" total height RF thing? I know it was an estimate, but did they officially say they're going by a 1" rule?

I had planned on waiting for the Foonf release, but I don't think it's going to work for us due to being set up so high. One of the reasons I just replaced DS2's MA70 (actually, the only reason...) with an RXT was because the MA70 is higher profile and loading/unloading was becoming a nightmare.

I'm still really anxious to actually SEE the Foonf (in person), though.:p

Thought about trying the angle adjuster, but I'm not sure I feel great about getting a Radian again after all the weird stuff some people have been told when calling SK. (I seem to remember they initially denied any reports of a problem with the super latch, even after multiple board members reported it.)

As long as the Foonf fits in my Odyssey's captain's chair, I'll be happy!

I'll be checking out the Foonf when it is available this summer to evaluate if I want to replace my SKR XTSL with it. I really hope the Foonf is as awesome as it sounds!
