Question Diono RXT in Spring arrived today

I ordered it only 2 days ago and it just shipped yesterday and arrived at noon- Fast! First impression out of the box was shock at the green color..it's kind of olive and i'm not liking it but hoping it will grow on me! I wish it had some pink in there, but it's cuter than any seats i've previously had!

I was also thinking that the head protection wings moved down to be used at all levels, but it doesn't appear to. And there are instructions on the bottom of the seat about "always lock adjustable bottom in raised position" for rear-facing...and i moved the bar and nothing happened, i couldn't figure out what it was wanting me to move  and i could not find info about that in the manual. Any tips on what i'm supposed to do there?

Also didn't find any info on what age/size to discontinue with the infant head support and body support...

I just got one too. I'm still figuring things out myself, but if yours shipped like mine, the bottom is probably already in the raised position for RF. The lowered position is to give the seat some recline for FF.

The wings are only to be used if your child is RF using the third slot from bottom and up.

The support (I think) can be used until you decide not to.

I hope someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

If it's like the old Radians, you "lower" or pop out the recline thing by squeezing the bar toward the front of the seat and pulling down...sort of. I always felt like I was about to pinch something.
