Do old style Britax convertibles have lock offs?

Last year when we went overseas I took the Scenera. Seatbelts there don't lock, so I had to use a locking clip every single time, 2 or three times a day, different cars, for a month. I wanted to shoot myself. This year I decided I want to take a seat with lock offs, no way I am doing the locking clip again. Since Britax seats are pretty simple to install, are small front to back and pretty narrow and are easy to ff in a pinch f I have to, I think they would be perfect, as long as they have the built in lock offs. I remember the kid I babysat 6 years ago had either a MA or a RA and if I remember correctly it had the locks on the sides, but I knew nothing about car seats then, so I dont know if those are lock offs or not. I figured if I could find an older one that has only a few months left on it, it would be totally worth spending the money then dealing with the frustration of using the LC every time.

Most of them do. The Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe does not, and I'm not 100% sure about the Roundabout 50 (although you can check it out at Target). The marathon and boulevard definitely do.

Thanks guys! I will keep my eye open in the swap forum! I think both the Ma or.the RA would work.

The ra classic has no lock off, go for the ma65

Sent from my iPod touch, sorry for any auto-correct typos!

The RA40 has lock offs, the RA50 does not.

There might be a couple of RA40 out there that are still good. Mine will expire in Feb, so it is has now been replaced.
