True Fit vs Roundabout 50

If you had to choose between these 2 seats which would you choose? I am trying to buy a new seat for my 4 month old dd who is about 15lbs and maybe 26" long.

Also is the butterfly cover for the basic TF still being made or is it a "once they are gone they are gone" thing with them? I think the pink and brown dot one is no longer being sold is it? I want a girly cover no matter which model I get.

Thanks!

I'd chose the True Fit (I did. Twice). At four months your daughter may still not have a long enough torso to fit into the Roundabout 50. It has less leg room, a shorter shell, lower top slots, and sits up on a base. It doesn't have lockoffs, and doesn't have a neat removable headrest. It doesn't have cupholders. It has a six year lifespan instead of seven.

I prefer the RA50. I didn't like the install of the TF and the harness always seemed to slip down. Can you try them both?

I love the Tf but at almost 13m my daughter still dosnt fit :( I really want one but one strap always slips off her shoulders because they are wide set...

And she's in a ma65 (same shell and harness height ss the ra50) right now with no problems. But her torso wasn't long enough until a few months ago.

Sent from my iPod touch, sorry for any auto-correct typos!

Pretty much everything Wendy said ;) I agree 100%.....

And the ONLY reason i am selling a TF and bought a Radian is for getting a 3-across in DH new-to-us sedan. I am really mourning not having two TF's

True Fit hands down. My biggest reason is it has a ton more legroom.

This, totally, plus Wendy's info that your little one may not fit into the RA50 yet.

On an ease-of-install, ease-of-use basis to me the RA50 wins hands down. I have a love-hate relationship with my TFP. It's a great RFing seat for my lightweight 2-year-old but DH hates the harness adjuster and I hate the install. It's currently in my basement but coming up when the seat in daddy's truck expires.
