3rd row in 2004 Dodge Durango

Can anyone tell me about the safety of a booster seat in the 3rd row of a Dodge Durango. The vehicle seat is very short. 2/3 of daughter's full back belt positioning booster seat fits on the seat, but seems a bit unsteady. Feels like it might tip forward. Would it be better to use a backless booster as more of the booster seat would be touching the vehicle seat? The full back booster does not have a complete base, there is a base in the front and almost a stand in the back by the seat bight.

Can I ask what seat you have? I may know of a shallower one. Also, a lot of kids don't need a booster in a smaller seat like that, as long as they can pass the 5-step test http://www.carseat.org/Boosters/630.htm . As kids get older, they fit in some cars without boosters before others, and this is a good general way to know.
But anyway, let's see if we can find you a shallower booster first
