Tried my DD in the seat the other day and she still fits!!! She is about 33 inches tall. I couldn't get her to stop wigling but she has about 1 1/2 above her head. If I had this seat I would have totally kept her in it till now. I loved my SR32, but I would seriously consider this one if I ever have another baby. It's so lightweight! .

I tried my 33mo dd in one a few weeks ago and her head was right at the top edge with the infant inserts still in. They only go to 22lbs here so she passed the weight limit long ago but that is one tall infant seat!

DD is 21 months and 34.5 inches tall and is finally growing out of the seat

Wow - that's great. I'm a big fan of using the bucket as long as possible so I can haul around the little one (sleeping or not) and keep the older one's schedules. Mine still fits in the SS1 at 14m with about 3" and six lbs. left.

I love this seat, but I wish that you could use it baseless past 22lbs. I would love to use it for travel, but I usually don't use the base when I travel.

Does the OnBoard not allow baseless installs past 22 lbs? I thought just the Via and Shuttle do.

Yes, my understanding is the same as Jennie's, that the OB may be used baseless until outgrown.

Post 15 and 16 here http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=209375 say that you can use it baseless up to 35#
