RF or FF a 22 MO on the plane?

We're taking a 2 hour trip by plane in a few weeks. I did not buy DD a seat but was told that the flights are both pretty empty. I'm going to check again about 2 weeks prior and make sure, and if it looks like they are filling up, I'll buy DD2 a seat. I can't imagine trying to have her sit in my lap for 2 hours!

I purchased a scenera for the trip. I was going to take our coccoro, but I'm giving it to my sister and DD2 has just about outgrown it RFing.

The flight is at 12:40. Totally nap time. I'm PRAYING once she gets buckled in and settled that she conks out, but she might not (I have back up plans!)

She's used to RFing. Would it make more sense to keep her that way on the plane? DH or DS will be in front of us so "reclining" their seat won't matter (and honestly, southwest only reclines about 4 inches so it really doesn't do anything.)

Any advice would be great! (and if anyone knows if I'll need a seatbelt extender, that would be awesome!)
