Has anyone shopped at walmart.com?

I hate to post this here, but I have googled and can't find any info. It is carseat related, because I need to buy a scenera for a friend. I'm thinking of buying it at walmart and having it shipped to the store. I have a coupon code I'd like to try, but I've gotten all the way through to the check out/confirm order, and can't find anywhere to enter a coupon...anyone know?

no clue. Walmart isn't the immeadiate though of where to buy a carseat for me. If you've got some great deal the by all means go for it. Most people buy them fro baby retailers and such.

I have no idea about walmart.com, but the sceneras are on clearance for $27 at target. If you can find one, they are probably gonna go fast.

things at that good a price sound a bit iffy....... If only a MA would go on sale at that price. I am a compulsive car seat shopper, but not buyer. I let my DH shop while me and the DD's repeatedly buckle, and unbuckle every seat on display. Guilty pleasures.

I called several Target stores in my area, and they had none in stock. They couldn't even give me a store code, they didn't have them in the system.

Perhaps so, in some cases, but the Scenera is usually only $40-50 at Walmart, Target and Kmart, so it being on sale for $27 is not very far-fetched. It's a good, basic, inexpensive seat, without the many problems of so many of the pricier Dorel seats. And as far as carseats go, the Scenera is one of the only ones I'd buy from Walmart ;).

To the original poster: I don't believe Walmart accepts coupons in the store, so it wouldn't surprise me if there wasn't a way to use coupons or codes online on their website, either.

Walmart is one of the sources of seats for many people and in some cases the only local source, or one of the few stores that sell a particular carseat, like the Safety First Uptown. It's not unreasonable to shop for a seat there at all in many cases. :twocents:

I haven't tried using coupon codes at Walmart.com and it has been a while since I last did some online holiday shopping there. I do remember shopping through ebates or upromise.com to get a % back on a walmart.com purchase, so maybe that would be an alternative, or maybe you could even "stack" the discounts if you can find a way to use the coupon code. Happy shopping!

I bought our Scenera from Wal-Mart.com. It took a while to arrive, but the box was in great shape when it arrived. Shipping is quite costly with them... I though.

II only buy seats if I've already gone to the store I'm buying it from, played with it nonstop, been badgered by my DH, but finnaly break through and get it.

they do accept coupons in the store.

Oh cool - good to know! Thanks!
I do maybe 1/3 of my grocery shopping there (most of the rest at the commissary & health/organic food store). I'd been wishing they accepted coupons, since we're doing serious debt reduction a la Dave Ramsey :D . Thanks again!

:yeahthat:
We have bought 3 Scenaras there. If you notice, the Scenara is one of the most recommended convertible seats on this site due to ease of install, high rear face install weight and low cost. Walmart, Kmart and Target are the top places to purchase it.

To OP, I know that they take coupon codes because you can find them all over the net and I have used them for free shipping. I can't remember where you enter them though. Maybe right before you confirm your purchase. If you can't find it, I would call and ask so that you can get your $$ off.
sunnytrishCPS, OP is having it shipped to the store so shipping is free. Alot of Walmarts let you ship things to the store and then pick it up there. Great for things that they carry only online. :)
