I have a child at work (asd). She is 8, 52# torso is appx 15 in (to shoulder) and 24 to head. What would you recommend? Thanks!

Why does the child need the seat? Is it maturity? Or some other reason? An rstv isn't a harnessed seat, so a kid who wiggles could very easily wiggle. Does the child need to be harnessed as long as humanly possible? Just a few years? If the child really only has a 15 inch torso, she may fit in the frontier for another 5 years!

Yes, she has autism. She typically has meltdowns where she throws herself around. She will not sit in a booster. I got the measurements from mom. Her shirt is a size 8, she is a triplet so she is on the small side. I can attempt a better measurement with her tomorrow. Thanks for all the help so far! Currently she is in an older evenflo and I'm sure she has outgrown it no doubt. I noticed it at summer, but it wasn't professional of me to say anything to mom. I waited until she came to me.

If she really does have a 15" torso I would get a frontier. Would give you about 5 inches of torso growth and support for her head should she fall asleep.
