My MIL posted about this on my Facebook wall (which I think is newsworthy in and of itself )
The family was unharmed (which I can't fathom). This article doesn't mention it (just "properly used car seat") but my MIL heard in the news that is was a properly used REAR FACING car seat (which I hope to goodness so, as the baby was 10 months old, but still, kind of cool that they highlighted that to the point that my MIL caught it)

This one mentions the RFing car seat, but also that the baby was 10 weeks (so now I'm confused )

This one says 10 months.
