Should the nhtsa ease of use ratings be important to me?

I think that depends a lot on how much effort you (and anybody else who needs to use the seat) are willing to put into learning how to use the seat. In general I think it's good information to have, but it wouldn't make or break my decision necessarily. The Radian doesn't get great ratings, but I love that seat. I'm willing to take the time to study the manual and not just assume that its use is going to be intuitive, though.

I don't go by it. The ones that rate easy usually don't last as long as others. I stopped looking at the list.

Okay, thanks. I got a little scared when I saw the britax parkway only got one star for securing the child. It's one of the seats on my option list, so I didn't know if I should rule it out based on their ratings.
