Hey ladies, I am currently a nanny for a 4 yr old and 2 yr old. The 4yr old has gymnastics twice a week and preschool every morning. The 2yr old will be starting gymnastics soon.
The problem is I drive a 2009 Ford Focus. The 2 year old is currently in a rf scenera(http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cosco-Scenera-Convertible-Car-Seat-Quigley/19206610) and the 4yr old is in a Graco Nautilus(http://www.walmart.com/ip/Graco-Nautilus-3-in-1-Car-Seat-Raya/15579363)
The twins will ride in Graco Snugride 22s.

My question is Who do I put in the front seat once the babies come??

The oldest forward facing harnessed child would go up front. You never want to put a rear facing seat in the front because of the airbag. So the 4 yr old in the nautilus would go up front.
Can you fit 3 across in the back with 2 infant seats and the scenera?

Will the parents approve of their child riding in the front seat? Is the family willing to provide proper transportation? Or are you able to get a larger vehicle by the time the babies are born? Putting the 4 year old up front is definitely not a good situation and should be avoided if at all possible. Air bags and young children are not a good mix.

If one child up front is absolutely unavoidable I would go with pp's recommendation.

I think so, is there a seat that would fit better??

ya, they are ok with it because there is no way around it.
the other question is, about a month or 2 after the twins are born, the 4yr old will be booster training since she will be about a month away from being 5, should i just flip the 2yr old and put her in front?? or wait till i booster train the older one?

I understand the parents wanting to booster train the 4yo, but in your car that child really needs to stay harnessed as she will be in front. To turn the 2yo FFing and put that child in front just for the "convenience" of a booster for the 4yo is not worth it. Turning the 2yo reduces that child's safety by 75% and then moving to the front seat is an additional 30% reduction in safety.

I said "convenience" of a booster because in a tight three-across, buckling a booster is not easy at all. Also, the Nautilus is a wide seat and unlikely to fit in a three across.

You should not put the 4yo in the front in a booster. In this situation, you should leave her harnessed in your car (at least) and make sure the front seat is as far back as it can go. I'd still be concerned about fitting three across the backseat and how far you'll be able to push the front seat back with the rearfacers behind her. (I know you can fit them, but it may involve new seats to make it work. You may want to look into coccoros and radians)

ok, what infant seats will fit with a scenera in the middle??

I was going to booster train the 4yr old so the nauti could be passed on to the 2yr old, she is almost outgrown the scenera.
