Weird and scary

I have DS1's seat installed outboard 2nd row of our odyssey. Yesterday, after my mom had ridden back there, I noticed that the seat belt was unbuckled. I always have the buckled twisted one half twist so that it can't be undone by accident. In addition, the buckle for my Mom's seat is on the opposite side. We just were leaving today and I noticed it was undone again. My mom hasn't touched it and I know the buckle was on the inside.

Could the seat be knocking the buckle and undoing it? Or is the buckle coming undone by itself? I just rebuckled it with the buckle on the outside.

I wonder if the seat is knocking it. Report back. I want to know if it still happens!

I thought seatbelts were supposed to be designed so that objects striking them couldn't release them. Wasn't that the issue with the Chrysler 3rd gen buckles?

Ugh! It might have been DS1 doing it out of habit bc he rode in a booster for a few days! It was undone again just now and I freaked out. I was going to move his seat and then he said... He did it. Hopefully that's the case.

The same thing happens to me tow times when I had DD Radian install RF in the center, we had to do 2.5 twists to be able to install the Radian, the next morning it was unbuckle, when we reinstall the car seat we move the Radian to the sides checking the install and it unbuckle again, we ended up installing the Radian outboard with latch
