Question Bought a CA65 today, no manual in box. Install ?

Like every other convertible on the planet, I can use a noodle to achieve a decent RF recline angle, correct?

Any other tricks to this seat that I wouldn't know intuitively from installing convertibles from every other company for the past 12yrs?

Looked on the Safety1st website for a download-able manual but it says there isn't one available at this time. Ugh.

So, not it the box, or on the back of the seat?

The other thing to look at is the level line. But yeah, you will do fine.

They emailed me a copy of the manual. I can forward it to you if you send me your email address.

Judi, nope. And it's for an almost 2.5yo so it's gonna be installed more upright than the line shows, anyway

It's okay, Kate just emailed me the manual  And just an FYI, 1st and 2nd crotch buckle positions only for RF- outermost for FF only :)

Side-question from the crotch buckle position--is the requirement for 1st or 2nd slot and not 3rd when RF due to the outermost falling in the seat belt path, or is there some other reason? And if it is due to the seat belt path, what if in a particular car/position, the 3rd position was the only one that didn't cause the seat belt to bunch up?

I know for my former CA, the 3rd slot did lie in the RF belt path. Not sure if that's their reasoning behind no 3rd for RF or not.

It's because of the RF belt path. I can't promise there are no other reasons, but that is clearly the primary reason. It is squarely right in the belt path, though, so I don't see any way a different car or seat belt angle would change anything. The first and second buckle positions are well out of the belt path, and the 3rd one simply won't work for RF.
