I *think* its MSRP will be $269. Don't quote me on that though.

That is about what I have heard. $250+. Probably out of my budget for a seat that rarely gets used in DH's truck. :( But if for some bizarre reason I decide to FF Sophie in my van, I'll buy one. The shield is usable to 40lbs, right?

If the shield is good past 40lbs I'd probably buy one. Iirc the tech discount will make it around $75.

Do you mean a $75 discount or that the total cost would be $75?? If the discount is that good, I'd buy one just to play with it! I saw one last March at Lifesavers, and it was a pretty cool seat!

Woohoo! That's the day after my birthday :D

I know what I'm getting, with shield. Little K can ride around in it. I've wanted one for so long!

$75 cost. Plus shipping I'd guess. It was posted on here before.

If it really is, I'm getting one for my nearly 5 year old. He's under 40 pounds and wants to ride forward facing. He's great in a booster, but I'd feel much more comfortable with him in the shield seat.

looking at the shield makes me nervous, I don't know why. It would be neat to see one in person to mes with it a little bit though.

It's hard for me to accept a shield booster seat also. Were so set that its wrong kwim? I'm still hesitant about them but willing to be open minded.

I need to be a tech!!:eek::eek: So far there are no classes offered in my state yet this year. :( Supposed to be one in Bismarck sometime.

I'm hoping to take a class at the end of Feb!! I just have to find childcare on Sat.

Dang, that's a tech discount!

I (accidentally) let my cert run out in May, and there haven't been any renewal classes offered recently :( I keep watching, because I can probably swing using 1 vacation day at work.

Yeah, please don't get your hopes up because I can pretty much guarantee that if they do decide to offer a tech discount that it isn't going to be that cheap. Retail price, last I heard, was $269.

They were saying March on FB. It got upped to February? That's awesome. I've been wanting one so bad!
If the $75 discount is true, that would be amazing. I really hope it's true.
