I got this on Saturday at my check. It's a Cosco TLC, most commonly used in hospitals for moms who don't have a carseat for baby. If I understand correctly, a tech brought it to the check from her office to destroy it. It was being used to transport babies who were being removed from their families. It wasn't even harnessed right! Here's the other pics. http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f157/carseatqueen/Other infant seats/ Ilana is 16.5# and about 28" so you can see how this would NOT fit a small baby at all.

Oh yeah, for those who don't know, this seat is still in production and this particular one was made in 2003, so it's not even expired yet.

When Mackenzie was born, there was that seat, and the Rock and Ride. I felt they both sucked, so I went with a convertible instead.

That's the infant seat we had in my class; the instructors seemed to love it.

Wowzers on that pic of Ilana in it!

I swear to you that looks, apart from the fabric pattern, EXACTLY like the picture my mom has of me in a car seat at about the same age as your gorgeous dd! LOL! The only difference was, my straps were loose enough that I could fit my legs underneath them when I pulled my legs up to my stomach! Well, I am 26, so at leaast my parents had my in a CR at all! Wasn't law back then!

Amanda, my mom swears she had to have a carseat to take me home in, but in my baby book she has written that the DR told her she needed to use a carseat. lol I think it might've been required in 82 when my brother was born, but we were military so maybe that had more rules?
