maxi-cosi infant seat

A friend is due with #4 & has a Maxi Cosi Foray she'd like to use for baby & get the coordinating infant seat. Is this a good seat? She drives a Dodge Caravan. Tia!

If she can install a floor model and verify a good install prior to buying, then sure. It should be fine in a gr caravan, but always best to make sure. Aside from that, it's still not my fave seat, but it's fine. I would never pay full price for one though. And I'd check to make sure the seat does not have puzzle buckles, if she does find a clearance seat somewhere.

Not the best car seat you can buy, but yes it will work great as a travel system for the foray. I work at buy buy baby and we only sell one maxi cosy infant seat in my store and one benefit is that it has epp foam not eps foam. This seat doesn't have the best side impact protection but it's your only option for that stroller.

I'm pretty sure the Cybex Aton will also work with the Foray---we looked at the Foray LX (new version) in part because the Aton works with Maxi-Cosi adapters. I really like the Aton (though we wound up with a different stroller so can't say for sure that it will work).
