DS2 (2) in his new Cobalt RXT.

I finally installed DS2's RXT yesterday (he'll be 2 on Thursday), after he took his "last ride" in his MA70. He's about 34" and 27-28 lbs. He has quite a bit more leg room in the RXT, but he doesn't seem to like it as much. It's like he is lost as to what to do with his feet/legs (after being "contained" for so long in the MA70), he spends most of his time, with his legs hung over the sides, kicking into the sides of the boot. He's also going to have to get used to the headwings, they seem to obstruct his view out the window, so he does peek his head out a little to see. I will say, loading and unloading is a TON easier for me. That was the main reason we replaced the MA70; with him being an "active" toddler and the MA70 sitting so high with a lot of shell coverage (and installed in a minivan captain's chair pushed all the way back), it was such a struggle almost every ride.

So, here he is in the RXT (I may remove the harness pads):

And his last ride in his MA70 (one for the memory book:p):
