Picked one of these up today to use in BF's 4-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I took all sorts of measurements and pics, so this is pic heavy. Price was $55 at Kmart.
Unboxed (unbagged, really)
Dual recline marker on both sides
DOM 12/15/11
Lowest slots about 5-5.5"
Highest slots at 14". There are 5 total.
The cup holders jut out to the sides. Total width from edge to edge of cup holder is 22"
Interior seating height 24"
Interior seating width 10"
Three slots for crotch buckle. 3.5-6.5"
Do not use after 2018 stamped on back
Reinforced top 2 slots
DD checking it out.
Sitting in it. It came on the middle slots, which were perfect for her.
Unfortunately, the short back seat of the Jeep doesn't allow 80% of the base on the seat, no matter how I try to vary the angle. The base is pretty weird. It's very far back, so I could see this being a problem in cars with short seats.
There is no more continuous harness. There is a second loop to be used with the lowest slot for a tighter fit for small babies. It's not at the splitter plate like others I have seen. You have to pop the harness out where it goes into the bottom of the seat and adjust it there. I would never have guessed that without reading the manual.
Unfortunately, it will have to be returned because of the Jeep's seat issue. Otherwise, I was adequately impressed with it. I wish we had been able to keep it. If anybody would like more pics or measurements before I take it back, please let me know.
