Fitting 3 car seats in Volvo XC70?

Hello,

We are looking to buy a 2004 Volvo XC70 and wonder if it will fit 3 kid seats in the back (1 booster and two car seats)? Does anyone with 3 children know if this is possible?

Yes it is... just depends on children's ages, height and weight; what seats you currently have; and whether you're willing to buy new seats if you need to.

Is the XC70 the station-wagon-like vehicle?

I know you can fit three across in the SUV-like vehicle (XC90?), but, as aidensmom02 said, it depends on the seats and the children.

Yes, the XC70 is the largest of the Volvo wagons, and probably counts as a "crossover" vehicle.

I have the '06 V70 and have had 3 seats back there. I will admit ours has the integrated booster which makes life much easier with a boostered child. I can fit my high back turbo booster back there with 2 Marathons though. I just have to have my daughter sit in it, then I scooch it towards the door, buckle it, then scooch it back and tighten everything up.

Currently we have a rf marathon, ff marathon, and integrated booster.

Whenever I do 3 across with one of them being a booster, I buckle the booster this way. Depending on the vehicle, my son can buckle himself, even with 3 across, without doing the scootch thing, but if I'm doing it, I need the extra space.
