I currently have a 21 month old toddler and pretty soon will have a newborn. I have a Nissan Versa which is small car. Im going to get an SUV but not for another few months. What would be the best options on placing the two car seats, one forward facing for my toddler and then rear facing for my newborn when she is born? Thank you.

Hi, Welcome to Car-seat.org

My best friend drives a versa and is having a baby soon too :)
Her older child (29m) is reafacing behind the passenger seat and we will be putting the baby behind the driver.

Have you thought about rearfacing your 21 month old? it is a lot safer.
What is that child's height and weight?

you may be able to put on in the center and one out board with the right seats, what do you currently have?

I had no problems installing two graco slimfit, rear facing in my 2012 versa. There is enough room for not touching the front seats with the back of the baby car seat, may be one inch of space between them. Space in the middle of the two graco slimfit at the back seat of my car are about 8 inches, no way than a person can seat there. Plus, I have the britax b agile double and it fits really good in the trunk, folded in a stand position, leaving a lot of space for any other stuff.
