Should I own an RSTV? Or something cheaper, like a bubble bum?
I am really struggling to make my occasional need for 3 across work. My life would be much easier if I could put my 5 year old in the center seat of either of my cars as needed, in a very portable, light weight, small travel seat such as the rstv or bubble bum. So help me decide. Is 5 old enough to use a bubble bum in the center seat? I don't think the harmony would work with a car seat on either side in either car. Or am I going to be forced to spend $120 on the rstv?

I really like the rstv for the occasional tight 3 across. I found mine on sale, though. Often you'll find one in swap for around $70 shipped. The rstv never expires!

I'd get an RSTV. I have a small and a Bubblebum and am not comfortable using the BB with my 6 y/o cousin, so she uses the RSTV.

It never expires? that's a bonus.
I'm never quick enough for the swap.
Those suckers sell like hot cakes.
