What do your kids think is more comfortable? The FR85 in booster mode or a booster such as a PW, Turbo, ect...

Thanks Kel

DD2 and DD3 have only sat in the FR85 in booster mode to try it out...we've never gone anywhere with them in it, but they both said it was super comfortable and they wished it could be their seat. That could just be because its new though. DD2 is normally in a parkway sgl or a harmony literider. DD3 is normally in a parkway sg (high back turbo booster as a backup).

FR85. It has better leg support and "hugs" a little more. When DD outgrows hers in harness mode, she'll be using it in booster mode for those reasons. DS1 would be in a FR85 in booster mode as well, except for the fact that his seating position in the car doesn't have LATCH and I'd prefer a booster that hefty to be anchored. So he rides in a PWSG. He's never complained (he's 9), but the seat depth isn't super generous, especially for a "big kid".

It really depends on the size of the child. My dd2 loves her TB but would be swimming in the FR85. My dd1 is too big for the TB but is comfy in her Oobr and fit great in the FR85. This picture was taken this past spring when she was 7y/o:

Thanks ladies, that helps alot. My daughter is on the smaller side, but her feet fall asleep very fast. I was thinking I would sell her FR85 and get something less bulky, but think I'll keep it for the leg support. Everyone else can just squeeze in around her seat, lol.

My DD is using hers in booster mode. She has super long legs. I found that some of the regular boosters were just too short for her and she was uncomfortable. We have them in both my and hubby's vehicle. She has a Recaro probooster in my mom's car and a Vivo in my mother in laws car. Not crazy about the vivo seat depth but she hardly rides with her and it's just short rides around down so we've managed.
