Question New CA booster law-how to respond?

I think the news of the new law is finally getting around :thumbsup: but people seem to not be too happy. How are you responding to people who say their kids are "too big" or "dont need" to be in boosters? any good info I can share?

nastyr posted this on FB and I think it does a decent job at giving the why of how belt fit is important/the difference an inch or two can make between hips and organ/spine damage. I like that it has a picture of a child, "your" child in just a seat belt with the belt up at their tummies and the drawing up higher showing where that belt hits as far as it being a non protected area. It seems a parent should be able to visualize if that is how their little rides.

Not hard scientific evidence, but I like analogies: Seatbelts are designed to fit the average-sized man. If you wouldn't expect your kid to fit in his dad's clothes, you can't expect him to fit in his dad's seatbelt either.
