We're looking at new vehicles, small SUVs. Looking online, it looks like the headrests on the Jeep Compass don't come off. Am I seeing right? And it looks like they lean forward. We need to keep ease of arseat install in mind when buying the vehicle.

Run FAR FAR AWAY from the non-removable Jeep headrests! I had a Commander and they are a nightmare for FF seats.

I think the Liberty has removable. I am pretty sure the Compass and Patriot are not removeable. No idea on the Cherokee or others.

I had an 05 Liberty and the headrests were removable. I don't know about newer ones though. I hate the Compass. I had to drive one as a rental car for a week.
