20 month old HATES XTSL headwings...help!

She's got a long torso and is just above the 3rd slots. According to the manual, I need to use the headwings once she gets to that point. She HATES them. She can't see around them at all and is constantly leaning her head forward so she can see her sister. It doesn't look comfortable and she yells "out out out!"

My first daughter only used the XTSL as a FF seat, so I didn't realize this was going to be an issue.

I've got a 65SL in DH's car, and the CCO that she's practically outgrown RFing.

Any suggestions? I'm going to try the 65SL and see if it makes a difference for her. :(

Oh no! I'm not entirely anti-mirror, if they're attached well and as soft as you can find them. Might that help? The angle adjuster would raise her up, too, maybe worth a try at $10?

I'm also going to suggest the angle adjuster. In my car it puts the seat more upright I cant say if it has helped DD see out the window better as she was in a MA70 prior to getting the AA.

It's already pretty upright. Any more and I think we'll be dealing with major head slump.

You can see how she leans her head forward to "see" around the headwings.

Ok that doesn't show how upright it is LOL! Maybe I will try the AA. I do have a mirror, which is why I knew that she was leaning her head forward. I'm going to swap it out for the 65SL tonight and see if it makes a difference.
