child safety seat newborn

hi all my husband and i are expecting our first child in 8 wks and we are looking for a car seat but don`t have a clue as to which models are the safest?
we have looked at the concord which was apparently one of the safest in the which report last year but it was not entered in this year, any info would be appreciated x

Thank you for your reply, we looked on loads of sites and which reports for the last few years and obviously tried them in the car,and we eventualy chose the concord Baboo.
Which seemed to fit our car nicely and we felt happies with.
But thank you all the same.
