I have never used one before (never needed to since we have always had seat belts that lock) but the tipping of DD2's Radian was driving me NUTS. It probably wasn't as bad as I was thinking, and the install was totally fine but it bugged me.

So at the suggestion of some here, I decided to try the locking clip. And it's awesome! It was so easy to install. The seat has NO movement AND it's not tipping!! I thought it was going to be hard to do, but it really wasn't.

I am a huge fan of locking clips  they're actually very simple once you get the hang of it an no tippy seats!

I had been using them incorrectly for a long time. I thought you needed them on all lap shoulder belts. Once I learned the correct way they were much easier. I don't mind them anymore either.

They can be ok. But I had to use one to install my radian in an '89 Honda Accord. It had LONG buckle stalks. The buckle was all the way into the belt path. It was almost impossible to rebuckle the belt once the locking clip was on. I didn't know about twisting the buckle stalk back then, but I don't think 3 twists would have got the buckle all the way out of the belt path.
