Question So when are they supposed to slow down?

I keep hearing that kids are supposed to slow down in growth as they approach 2. Elsa was at the top of the growth charts for weight all her life, and right around age 1 she dropped into between the 95th and 99th %ile. But for the past four months she's been back up over the top and it looks like it's a higher jump each time. She grew a full inch and a full pound in the last month.

I'm really starting to worry about how long I can RF her. Even at this pace we *should* make it to 2 in the MR but then we're looking at a Radian, which I don't like and unless it's one of the SK ones, I can't really afford, or a Foonf, which I really can't afford, or the new Peg which I don't know anything about.

Mine slowed down around 1 actually. My oldest was 18lbs at 1 and about 36-37lbs now at almost 5. My youngest was 21lbs at a yr and about 30lbs now at almost 3. They are both very tall though.

I was hoping to hear she still will stop growing so fast. Doesn't help my self confidence much either - I feel like everyone sees a big mom with a big kid and we just eat McD's together all day. :/

They kept saying that dd would slow down in weight gain, she was 32.5 lbs, 32.5" at 12m & 36 lbs, 36"@ 18m. She only gained 1 lb between 18m and 34m, but there was extenuating circumstances, I think she would have gained more as she gained a whopping 9 lbs between 34 & 36 months. I think she would have gained it more evenly otherwise.

So in my case it was about 18m for weight, though she kept growing in height (off the charts for both).
