I pry with a butter knife and then pull it out with needle nosed pliers. I loathe removing Radian covers.

I always took my cover off around the peg. The peg stayed attached to the seat? So happy my Radian days are over! lol

To do this you have to enlarge the hole in the cover. It's not supposed to come off that way.

I have taken the pegs out of both my Radians and never bothered to put them back in. Only once has one side of the cover come up because it wasn't pegged. I just put it back on and it was fine.

I never thought the RN cover was any worse than any other cover to remove... and Ive taken off a few covers :D

Honestly you dont need a knife or pliers. Take the safe stop that should be attached to your seat, slide it under the plug so its lying flat against the seat, then pull up. It pops right out. I also leave the plug out after Ive taken it out for the first time as the cover stays on just fine without it ;)

On a related note, do ALL the Radian covers have those pegs?

I traded 80SL covers with someone here, and when I got the new one I couldn't find the holes in the covers to put the pegs through. It stays on fine without the pegs but I prefer to have the pegs in. If I could find the dang holes.

The newer ones do not have holes nor pegs. The Diono seats do not either.
