Is Baby Universe and Dreamtime Baby the same?

I called both to see when then would have more Regents in and I swear the same girl "Lauren" answered the phone at both?

It really doesn't matter I just want to order there b/c of the $50 rebate, but It was a little weird...like why 2 stores

Part of the Baby Universe Business profile is to purchase the competition. They may have purchased Dreamtime Baby as a way of increasing their market share. The two websites would run at the same time to give the public the image that there is choice and to keep any customer base that the bought out company may have.

I did notice that they have completely different mailing addresses (one is in GA and the other in FL). . but that doesn't necessarily mean anything either.

Another thought I had is that they are independent retailers, but they both outsource their customer service to the same place. I used to work for a call center outsourcer and we took calls for thousands of companies, many of them small internet shops. I also know that each person many handle calls for a variety of companies, it's possible that it was the same woman taking calls for both.
