I was talking to a friend at playgroup this morning while she was putting her children in their perfectly installed carseats and I glanced over 2 spaces where a lady was putting her 2 kids in their seats--2 boys about 3 & 6 yrs old. The 6 yr old was in the seat with the seatbelt under his arm and that was the good part. The younger boy was in a OHS with the shield AND harness taken off and the mom put the seatbelt over like a booster and the shoulder part behind the the carseat. I couldn't believe it and went to talk to her. Her excuse was that it wasn't his normal carseat and they had taken the shield and harness off. She listened to what I said...Not the way that is supose to be used, he needs to be in a harness, very unsafe, seriously hurt if in accident and even thanked me for being concerned but than blew me off by closing the van door and leaving. I am going to see if I can find out who it was and get ahold of her.
WHAT?!!!!? My friends can be really bad, but NEVER THAT bad!!!!
