IRS not want to spend a lot plans on keeping dd rfing til at least 2.

Dd is 1 yr and about 20 lbs she says she has 2 inches left in the safe seat. But I have not check and am not sure of the limit. Is it a top of head limit ?

She wants a convertible and as good a seat she can get for the money. I told her I would watch out for a great deal for her.

Her kids are on the smaller side. Her do will be 4 in jan and still wears 3 t.

Car is an envoy if that matters.

Thank you!

It's the one inch rule.

If age 2 is good enough, most anything will work, even many seats that aren't usually recommended like the ComfortSport. A Scenera, MyRide, TrueFit. The CS and Scenera will definitely need to be followed by a forward facing harness, like a Maestro, whereas the MR or TF *may* be the last harness she needs to buy.

How about mr install? I thought I read somewhere it can be tricky? We talked about seats last night and she wants to spend near 100.00 but she wants it to last. Not have to spend another 100 in 2 years.

Some people don't like the way the MR installs FFing. It is quite reclined FFing.

RFing, the only real trick is to peel the cover back from around the cupholder to gain access to the RF belt path from inside the seat. Pull from there, then put the cover back after it's installed. Easy-peasy.
