Adjuster in a Mazda 5

YIKES! Crazy crazy upright. It puts it up really high, like how the Britax seats sit. This is only my first attempt, so I may try to get the feet into the seat harder. Pics to follow.

Wow, interesting to see! Any way you can measure the angles before and after? I'm awful at estimating, but I'm really interested.

I usually hold it inside the seat, against the back (Where the child's back would go, if that makes sense?)
But, if it is 27*, that's okay, Radians don't specify an upper limit for recline angle, it just has to be 45* or more upright. :)

I fought with it to get it a little more reclined. It just "looked" too upright to me.

When I put it in the seat where her back will go, it says 33 now. Along the back of the shell it says around 29.

Thanks for posting this. That's why I haven't ordered one. I'd love to get a little more room in the front seat, but as it is I already have it installed so upright that dc's head slumps when he sleeps.

When it was super upright, could you put the front seats all the way back?
Yes. I can even after I tethered it. I'm happy with the result. :)

How was the RXT without the adjuster? The same as the XTSL?
I don't know! I didn't try it. Are people finding that it is more upright? The base looks identical.

Oooh I'd like to see pics of the Civic! We're waiting for our adjuster to arrive and one of the cars we need it for is a Civic...and I'm impatient! lol
It worked like a DREAM. The angle measures the same as in the 5 (27-30ish.) The install was actually easy with the adjuster in there. I'm excited to not sit in the dash in that car!
