Question RSTV for F/T use..

Would you put a 6yr. 7mo. old in a RSTV F/T?

yes, no?
why or why not?

Not unless they could completely buckle themselves. We took a vacation in August and had the 5 year old in one for multiple car trips a day. Day 1, not so bad, day 2, starting to get annoying, days 3 & 4, we were walking farther to not have to buckle him in every. single. time. It got old really fast.

If you are talking about a once a day type deal (i.e. carpool or whatever), then I think its fine. It was the multiple ins and outs that killed us.

If the child could do him/herself up alone or I could easily reach and didn't have multiple other kids to buckle in. I wouldn't use it for trips longer than an hour because it has very little support. (My son complained after a 3 hour round trip.)

I would prefer to use a regular booster for full-time use for a child that age. The RSTV is a pain to buckle in and out of. But if nothing else would fit, I'd make it work.
