Just went out to my car. DD left her sippy cup up side down in her xtsl. The harness is soaked(with water)

Would you replace? I called diono, they will send another, but what should I do until then?

Heck no. Sippy-cup spillage is not the same as a bath in a bucket, IMO.

Thanks. A good 8inches of it was soaked, I had to put a folded tshirt under her butt to keep her from getting her butt soaked.

Nope, there's no way I would have even considered replacing it. Heck, in the 21 years that I've had my kids in car seats I know my kids have soaked a harness or two with milk, juice, or spit up and I've used a soaking wet wash cloth to clean the straps. I don't believe that the real problem is getting the harness soaked with water. The problem is people using harsh chemicals like soaps, laundry detergent or other cleaning products to clean them. It's the chemicals that can break down the fabric of the harness not the water.

ETA: I've even seen a post or two around here where a manufacturer has actually recommended running vomit soaked straps under running water to clean them.

Yep, I've heard manufacturers suggest hosing off seats after kids have gotten sick.
