Baby Gates

I'm in need of baby gates for a split tri-level (so 2 half staircases) for a very busy baby. My dilemma is that I would like my 4 yr old to be able to get through them unassisted. A deal would be nice too. Any ideas?? Thanks!

We have this gate at the top of our stairs, since it is wall mounted. My 5 year old has no problems working it.

We have this one at the top of my mom's stairs. I was unable to find it when I was looking for a gate for our house, so we ended up with the one linked above. DS also has no problems opening this one.

We don't have anything at the bottom of our stairs, but if we did, I'd consider this one. Once we showed ds how to open it, he can easily do it now. He was able to do it at other people's houses around age 3, I think.
