LOL. After observing my kids RF and FF, I have become completely convinced that they are more comfortable RF. If I could only keep them RF forever. :)

I turned ds3 in our truck because he was crying about leg pain and being "too tight" and making our trips miserable. Then I took this picture of him FF.

It's been a while since dd2 RF but she still does that. I feel her press against my seat with her feat, she kicks my elbow to put them on my arm rest or she's sitting crossed legged. Very rarely are they just dangling. I think she spent so much time RF she's just not sure what to do with them ;)

Sofi does the same thing. Her legs are always sitting criss cross, or over the sides of her seat like she was RF, lol

I went somewhere with my mom last week and DS is ff in her van and he sat cross legged with his feet tucked in his seat and my DH just got a new pickup truck and DS Is ff and has no leg room and has to tuck his legs up

DS always sits with his legs up and he was turned at 1 (before I knew better). That's typically something I use to demonstrate to parents that rear facing is not uncomfortable, they'd sit like that anyway.
