Question Where to find a recent True Fit or My Ride

My 3 1/2 month old is finally at his max height for his infant seat. I have been looking for a car seat for the last month. I have a Mazda 3 and both my husband and I are tall. We read that the My Ride and True Fit are the best size for my car and that the True Fit is best for tall kids. Everyone has cleared these seats out and we are getting desperate to find one. I have found a couple of each but the have ranged from 1-2 1/2 years old already!
I don't think we can hold out much longer and no one seems to have any idea when they will be gatting more in.
Does anyone here know when they will be restocked or if anyone already has them?
Thank you!

I too am looking for a true fit for my 10 month old. but i can't find any where either i phoned all the zellers in my area and they don't have any nor do they do know when they will be in. they are probably going to be getting more in stock of the new 2012 soon. but maybe until them you could by a safety 1st one fro walmart to get you through until they come in. or because she or he is only 3 1/2 month old i would say maybe try a Graco Snugride 35 they are really good and rf til 35 lbs and 32 in tall!

I've been hunting too and the most recent I found was nov 2010. With the 7-year expiry it makes it comparable to some other new 6-year seats...
I found it at zellers. I haven't seen them anywhere else.

They're discontinued because they aren't compliant with the new standards. They're great seats (I have both), and very safe. But because they can't be sold in stores or by individuals after January 1st, they likely haven't been made in a while. There's a January 2011 TF at my Zellers (for $200 ). That's the newest I've seen in stores.

What infant seat do you have? By max height, do you mean he is within 1" of the top of the shell of the seat? Or are you going by the overall max height. Most people ignore the overall max height because all babies are proportioned differently. You can choose to keep using your infant seat until the top of his head is within 1" of the top of the shell, or he reaches the maximum weight.
