Does FF help with carsickness?

Because I have a friend who swears it does and that's why she turned her 13 month old around.

For some kids, yes, it really does help.

Whether it's worth turning a 13mo around is a hard call -- I guess it depends on what else they tried and how sick the child gets.

My best friend's 2y7m old is RF and has ridden FF a handful of times - and every time she rides FF she gets car sick. So... no.

Not always. Otherwise there would be no adults with car sickness

But yes, in some extreme cases it can help but usually a car sick kid is a car sick kid. No matter what way they face. When they get older u can teach them tips to help but at 13 months that obviously won't help

There are things that work RFing just as well as FFing. Generally the direction the child is facing doesn't matter. Motion sickness happens when the brain gets conflicting information from the eyes and the body. Helping the child to have a good view out the back window while blocking or reducing visibility out the side windows helps a lot.
